In this part of the series, we explored the otherness of being a queer individual. Having a visual identity that is unconventional, we often find ourselves in the midst of stares, frowns, open jaws and of course compliments and love too.
In Sri Lanka, the demon is a cultural symbol. There are demonic characters that represents psychology and healing rituals and dance associated with it. The demons being the ally and the destructor of 'evil' positions them in the non binary or duality in a transcendent manner.
We have emphasised the playfulness and otherness of having identity through this segment. Similar to the demons, we ward-off judgement and demonstrate liberation for those who notice.
